Fitpaw – Client Terms & Conditions
Who We Work With
Dogs must be at least 12 months (1 year) old and fully vaccinated before taking part in sessions. We work with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities including those with behavioural or physical challenges. we do not work with overly reactive or agressive dogs.
Please let us know about any medical history, injuries, allergies, surgeries, or behavioural concerns so
we can tailor the session accordingly. We reserve the right to decline or delay a session if we feel a dog
is unwell or not suited for physical activity that day.
Your Dog’s Safety Comes First
All sessions are fully supervised by experienced team members and paced based on your dog’s
comfort and ability. Our non-motorised equipment allows dogs to move at their own pace, no pushing,
pulling, or forcing. Breaks are given as needed, and dogs are offered water throughout. If your dog
appears tired, stressed, or unwell during a session, we will stop or adjust the workout for their safety.
Fitpaw is not liable for health issues that arise from pre-existing or undisclosed conditions.
Behavioural Needs & Manner
We welcome dogs with anxiety, or behavioural quirks, But clear communication is essential.
Please be honest about any aggression, bite history, fear-based reactions, or other challenges so we
can plan accordingly. If we feel a session is unsafe to continue (for your dog or our team), we may
pause or end it early and discuss a plan going forward. Muzzles, calming tools, or safety equipment are
welcome if helpful.
Attending Sessions
You’re welcome to attend your dog’s session or let them work with us independently, it’s entirely your
choice. Please bring your dog on a secure collar or preferably, a harness and lead (no retractables please). you're welcome to provide approved treats if you'd like us to include them or if they are needed for training. We occasionally take photos or videos for social media and training purposes. If you’d rather your dog not be included, just let us know.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
If we don’t hear from you, we’ll assume it’s going ahead. Emergency situations are always considered please just keep us informed.
Payments & Packages
Payment is due on the day of the 1st session of package. We accept cash, bank transfer, or card (where available). Packages are non-refundable once started. Missed sessions without notice will not be credited back.
Liability & Insurance
While we do everything possible to ensure your dog’s safety, Fitpaw is not liable for injury, illness, loss,
or damage resulting from prior health issues or accidents outside our control. We recommend all clients carry pet insurance that includes cover for injury, illness, and third-party liability.
Staying in Touch
We’re happy to check in after your first session, and you're always welcome to reach out with updates,
questions. Bookings can be made by email or by direct message on Facebook, we aim to keep it simple and flexible for you.
Agreement
By booking a session, you confirm that: You are the legal owner or caretaker of the dog. You have
provided full and accurate details about your dog’s health and behaviour. You understand and agree
to these terms, including cancellation and payment policies.
